Usage-based Auto-Recharge: keep the wallet honest after the included pool

Every plan refills extra minutes, SMS, and other usage at the same published rates. No mystery multiplier. Here is how to watch it without a spreadsheet.

Avaga does not hide a second price list for overflow. Usage-based Auto-Recharge is on Lite, Growth, and Business. When a plan's included pool is used, the wallet refills at the same published rates. What we pay carriers is what you pay.

What Auto-Recharge is for

  • Minutes beyond ordinary included US and Canada use.
  • SMS and MMS after the included pool.
  • Recordings and other metered usage the plan already disclosed.
  • AI employee usage after the complimentary Workforce and Assist Pro allotment.

What it is not

It is not a silent upgrade to a more expensive plan. It is not a new per-seat tax. Seats still add at $15 a month. Extra numbers still add at $1 a month. Auto-Recharge is only the metered remainder.

Watch three numbers in the first month: outbound SMS, recording minutes if you keep everything, and any international attempts. Those three explain almost every first invoice surprise in cloud calling. Set a wallet alert before you scale a campaign.

Yearly billing saves 10% on the workspace fee. It does not change usage rates. Auto-Recharge stays on the same published prices either way.

If you need committed usage, multi-entity billing, or a custom SLA, that is Enterprise. Talk to sales. Do not try to stretch Auto-Recharge into a volume contract.
